Research & Development –
Although LED’s have been around for decades, the technology is still in its infancy. PPK along with its R&D teams is constantly looking at how the lighting technology can bettered and improved. PPK and its R&D teams have recently successfully tested some prototype lights that are producing over 176 lumens per watt (which is among the highest recorded rates in the world)
Technology –
PPK products operate on motion sensor technology in Solar LED Street lights i.e. the lights would only operate at 20-30% power when no-one is around and the light will burn brighter and longer when there are people around.
PPK products have Wi-Fi enabled lights to effectively and remotely monitor the lighting system. These Wi-Fi systems can also be used as “hotspots” to provide Wi-Fi to those in the area / vicinity.
Testing –
PPK in partnership with its vendors are committed to delivering the best quality products. This is done through PPK’s world class testing facilities and equipment. PPK only adheres to the highest of standards of testing and its products are currently certified IP 66 and higher, LM 79/80 and CE/ROHS / UL/DLC among others. To validate the final production, PPK has also installed completed Testing and Inspection Facilities at its Mohali Assembly Plant, which boasts of high-end laboratory equipment.

Health and Safety –
The AMA recently came out with a finding that certain street light colours over 4,000k caused health issues. PPK has since made a concerted decision / effort to promote light colours lower than 4,000k in all its outdoor and indoor even though its other competitors continue to use and promote colours over 4,000K.
